Welcome to Our School
Welcome to The Children’s Courtyard at Matlock in Arlington, TX. My name is Melissa Henderson and I am the Director here on Matlock Rd. Our school is so much more than a daycare. We offer loving Infant care as well as superior early Preschool programs. Our nationally recognized, research-based curriculum keep us focused on the goal of helping children reach their full potentials.
We have an outstanding and tenured staff with more than 30 years of combined experience. All of our teachers receive monthly training in early childhood education.
We run our program as if the children, parents and teachers are an extension of our own families. We keep in mind that each family has a unique schedule and we certainly try to accommodate flexible school plans and new working parent needs.

Melissa Henderson, Director
Education: Director Credentials and an Associates Degree in Business
Certifications: First Aid/ CPR Health and Safety Training
My goal as Director is to provide a loving educational environment that meets the need of our children and families. I have over 15 years of experience in childcare. Here at the Children's Courtyard on Matlock I started in 2022 as the Associate Director and after almost two years I am now the Director. I take pride in our amazing staff knowing they are the best of the best. I look forward to developing a relationship with you and your family to help foster a love of learning in your little one.

Hi! My names is Lyanne Maisonave, I have over seven years of experiences in early childhood educational field. I have been with The Children's courtyard since 2021. I have worked in various roles including caring for children from infants to School Age. I soon progressed to being a Associate Director. I have met so many families through my journey. I have enjoyed watching your kiddos grow while they are here with us. I look forward to many more years with CCY!
