Welcome to Our School

Welcome to The Children’s Courtyard in Concord, NC! I am Ms. Kristen, the center director and I'm excited to show you why I absolutely love this school. We offer programs for Infant Care, Toddlers, Preschool programs for two and three-year-old's, Pre-K, and School-Agers.

We have technology in our Preschool, Pre-K and School-Age classrooms with educational apps and learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math. Our teachers participate in various training opportunities throughout the year to stay current in the field of early childhood education. They are all passionate about the care and education of young children. Miss Lexi is our Safety Captain who leads our school's commitment to safety and helps us maintain our culture of safety. From teachers to children, we are ever mindful of proactive safe behaviors and ensuring safe environments. We are more than a daycare; we are a community.

I have called this school home since doors opened in 2007. I'm a former police officer, foster parent and author, and was named the 2009 WBTV Hometown Hero of the Year. I love being helpful to others and helping each child feel valued and important.
