Welcome to Our School
Welcome to The Children’s Courtyard educational preschool in Ballantrae of Land O' Lakes, FL. Our school is nationally accredited by the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation. My name is Dana, and I am the school director. I have over 20 years of experience in business management and Early Education combined. I am passionate about motivating our children to be life long learners.
Our Infant Care, Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs provide the perfect foundation for learning and child development. We transport to local Elementary Schools that include, Bexley, Imagine, Oakstead and Sanders Memorial.
I lead a great group of teachers who are always smiling and truly love what they do. Together, they have over 25 years of combined experience in child care. They receive monthly training and participate in ongoing training offered by the state.

Dana Mulrooney, Director
Education: A.A. Early Childhood Education
Certifications: NICCM National Director Credential and Florida Director Credential, VPK Endorsed, & First Aid and CPR Certified
My husband and I love spending time with our three children and traveling. I have over 16 years of experience in management, training and developing others. I started as a VPK teacher, became curriculum specialist and now became center director. I am passionate about providing children with a loving and safe environment, enriched with learning experiences that enhance all areas of their development. I look forward to being part of your family's journey!

Robin Robinson, School Education Manager
Education: BA in Early Childhood Education MA general Education (K-12) and a PhD Candidate in Curriculum & Instruction
Certifications: Master Teacher, VPK Staff Credentials; Grad Certificates in Autism Education & School Leadership; First Aid, CPR
I love spending time with my family when they come to visit Florida. I have over 12 years experience in teaching from infants to kindergarten. I am passionate about planting the seed of learning through love while nurturing their wellbeing. I love mentoring and exchanging ideas with my associates. I look forward to meeting our families.

Shanee Reynolds, Admin Assistant
Education: High School Diploma
Certifications: DCF 45 Hours, CPR/First Aid, Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding Certificate
I have always had a passion for serving people in the community. I have been a CNA for 17+ years, which I absolutely loved. In 2021, I joined the CCY team as a Two's teacher, moved into the Preschool class and then became a Team Lead. Now as my role as Administrative Assistant, I love being able to help guide our students, parents, and teachers here at Children's Courtyard. I have enjoyed my journey and love being a part of each and every family.
