Hello and welcome to Children's Courtyard Plano! My name is Angela Bennett, and I am thrilled to be your CCY Plano Legacy Director! At The Children’s Courtyard in Plano, our mission is to provide safe and stimulating environments, nurturing care and upscale learning opportunities for all students including but not limited to our Infant Care, Toddler, Preschool and Prekindergarten programs. We offer many different activities including dance, soccer, basketball, and Spanish Immersion.

Education: Early Childhood Administration

Certifications: Texas Director Credential, CPR/First Aid Certified, Texas Food Manager License

I have been with The Children's Courtyard since April of 2000 and I believe every day is a learning adventure for children. Children are curious! Through play, exploring and asking questions! A student is able to make connections with real life experiences to complex skills and learning objectives. I love to encourage by introducing new ideas, age appropriate environments and materials to explore. I am thrilled to meet you and support your tiny explorer’s love of learning!

My passion for Early Childhood Education can be traced from my early days in High School. Whether babysitting a neighbor's child, or student teaching at the elementary school level, caregiver and family relationships have been a passion of mine. I prioritize students' individual needs, fostering an environment where they take responsibility for their own learning journey. It is my belief that all students can and want to learn. It is my job to meet them where they a move them forward!
