Welcome to The Children’s Courtyard! We are a Texas Rising Star accredited educational daycare in Southlake, TX. My name is Casey Smith and I am the Campus Director. We serve in the city of Southlake and the surrounding communities (Carroll ISD). I've been with the company for many years & have more than 20 years of experience with The Children's Courtyard.

Our school provides a variety of care and educational programs for children six weeks through 12 years old. We offer excellent Infant Care, Twos, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten & Before & After School care along with exhilarating summer camp programs. All classrooms have age specific curriculum for all ages based on individual milestones while being documented with personalized portfolios that document your child's growth & development.

Together, our teachers have many years of experience working in the early childhood education field. All teachers receive ongoing training throughout the year to remain leaders in the industry. Flexible schedules are available for all ages pending availability.

Education: Bachelor of Fine Arts

Hello, I’m Casey and I’m born & raised in Texas. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UT Arlington (emphasis in Photography). I’m a big family person and spend much of my time surrounding myself with my Husband, son, daughter, family & friends. In my spare moments I love to take on home DIY projects, take photographs, shop at antique fairs, road trips, crafting & traveling! I’ve been working with The Children’s Courtyard since 2003 and have experienced every position there is to offer.

Jennifer Treadwell, Associate Director

Hello! My name is Jennifer and I’ve been with The Children’s Courtyard since August 2015. I have been in child care for over 20 years now and have obtained my Child Development Associates and Master Teacher title while I was Lead here at Southlake. After a year stint of being the Associate Director at a sister school, life brought me back to Southlake! I look forward to assisting you and watching your children grow.

Jesse Porter, School Age Manager

Hi there, my name is Mr. Jesse! I have been with The Children’s Courtyard since May 2019 but I have been a part of the Courtyard family since 2003, I attended The Children’s Courtyard as a child. Currently I’m working towards my Bachelors degree in Education to be a certified math teacher & football coach. I enjoy spending most of my free time with my family/friends and I like to travel.
